EAST QUOGUE

On August 2, 2023, members of the SCDA, SCPD, and Town of Southampton executed a search warrant of a home in East Quogue, and seized multiple animals including birds, reptiles, and a guinea pig that were living in extremely poor conditions. The owners were each charged with multiple counts of misdemeanor animal cruelty. FACTS assisted with the veterinary costs of care for certain birds and reptiles in this animal cruelty seizure.
